Throughout his career, Scott has been admitted into all Florida State Courts, the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals Federal Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals 11th Circuit, the U.S. District Courts, the Southern District of Florida, and the Middle District of Florida, the Northern District of Florida.

Experience
Scott has been a Board Certified Specialist in Marital Family Law by The Florida Bar since 2010. As such, he has received the highest level of recognition by the Florida Bar concerning competency and experience as a marital and family law practitioner. There are more than 95,000 attorneys licensed to practice law in the state of Florida and less than 275 are Board Certified Specialists in Marital and Family Law. This allows Scott to identify himself as an expert in the field. Scott is also AV® Rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Additionally, Scott is a former state prosecutor and practices in the area of criminal defense. Scott has experience in a wide variety of cases from homicide, violent crimes, sex crimes, white collar, misdemeanor, and criminal traffic offenses.

Education
Scott attended college at the Warrington School of Business at University of Florida and received a B.S.B.A. in Management in 1994. Scott then attended the Deadman School of Law at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas and received his Law Degree in 1997. Scott has been licensed to practice law in Florida for 26 years and focuses his practice in Marital and Family Law and Criminal Defense.
